23rd October 2007 Windsurfing: Marazion Wind Direction: SE Wind Stength: F4 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: 13 Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Having not gone out the day before, largely because it was a cold day with no sun, albeit the same wind strength as today, was a bit iffy again, 11kts - was it enough? (Silly arse...) However, another guy rigged up on a 6.2, so rigged the 6.5 and took the 102 FSW - excellent if up and down session! Lovely to be sailing in the sun, with St Michael's Mount in the background. Managed some gybes which was good, out for about 2 hours on and off with stops for drinks and bananas :). I need to practise lots more, and be more committed - some light wind practice would be the thing, to get the bearing away and pulling down on the rig thing happening. This is necessary on days like the following Sunday ;) travelling forward in time a bit... |
